Terry Orchard

I created my celebrant business after retiring from a 36-year career in a specialist role within the public service. A career where reliability, trustworthiness, and respect for others were key elements of my position. I knew I had more to offer and so researched prospective roles that would align with my sense of values and my attention to detail. I became a Civil Celebrant because it fulfilled all those components that I felt were important such as helping others, providing a service, planning, and of course the most important one – creating a bright and positive environment. My ethos is simple – craft a classic, stylish and uncomplicated ceremony for my clients, tailored made to meet their individual needs and provide them assurance they seek and the joy they deserve. I am a devoted husband to my amazing wife and father to two beautiful and very talented adult daughters – and an often manic pug cross. I live on the fringes of Brisbane City, and I am an enthusiast for all things traditional and classic in nature – which is evident in my vintage car and motorcycle. My favourite aphorism pretty much sums me up, "How you do anything, is how you do everything"
