After completing an accredited marriage celebrant course in 2014, the bookings for weddings have steadily grown. In December 2019, the Marriage Act 1961 was altered, so I followed my Christian beliefs and changed my registration to a Religious Marriage Celebrant that performs civil ceremonies. After establishing an excellent reputation on the Gold Coast, I relocated to Hervey Bay in January 2024 and can now be booked for weddings all the way down to the Byron Bay and up to Bundaberg. I also assist pastors of churches who are not registered to solemnise marriages by overseeing the legal requirements and paperwork required and attending the wedding ceremony to ensure that all legalities according to Australian Law is fulfilled. I'll spend as much time as is necessary with couples as they prepare for their wedding day. It's always a pleasure and very enjoyable sharing their exciting journey. Having a healthy sense of humour often helps the nerves couples experience on the day, so I don't mind having a bit of fun and a good laugh on the day! Since couples have so much to arrange, I communicate regularly to ensure that all legal requirements are fulfilled so that on the day, couples can fully be in the moment. I am very happily married to my gorgeous wife Gabriela for over 10 years. A balanced life between work and family keeps my focus clear and my mind energised. This enables me to be at my best on wedding days for my couples whilst not neglecting my precious home life. We have 5 grown up children and 6 beautiful grand children. Life is good!
