About me

I became a celebrant because I believe life’s milestones are sacred. They are the thresholds of our lives — moments when we pause, gather, and honour love, memory, and transition. Whether it is a wedding, naming, farewell, or a personal ritual, a ceremony is never just a formality. It is an opportunity to witness who we are, to affirm what matters most, and to share it with the people we love. As an authorised civil celebrant, my role is to create ceremonies that are authentic, personal, and deeply meaningful. I bring both the legal knowledge and professionalism needed to ensure your ceremony flows smoothly, and the creativity and sensitivity to ensure it reflects you. Every person, couple, or family carries a unique story. My gift is to listen closely, to draw out what matters most, and to weave it into words, rituals, and moments that feel true. I don’t believe in generic templates. For me, ceremony is alive — it should feel like it could only belong to you. Sometimes this looks like simplicity: clear, heartfelt words, a quiet space to honour the occasion. Other times it might include symbolic rituals, music, readings, or elements drawn from your heritage or spiritual beliefs. My role is to guide you with confidence, offer ideas, and ensure every choice feels aligned with your values. A wedding, for example, is more than vows and signatures. It is a declaration of love and a commitment to walk together into the future. A naming ceremony is more than a tradition — it is a celebration of a child’s life and an acknowledgement of the community that will surround them. A funeral or memorial is more than a service — it is a tender space where grief and gratitude can both be held, where memories are honoured and stories are shared. And personal rituals, such as vow renewals or house blessings, allow us to mark transitions that may be quiet but are deeply significant. What unites all of these moments is the need for authenticity. When a ceremony feels true, it resonates not only with you but with everyone who gathers to witness it. Clients often tell me my ceremonies feel warm, grounded, and heartfelt. For me, that is the greatest compliment — that you felt seen, your story was honoured, and your guests felt included and connected. Beyond my celebrancy, I am also an author, artist, and mentor. I am the founder of Journey Home to Soul, a body of work that weaves together art, retreats, mentoring, and teachings. At the heart of this work is The Journey — an eight-stage, four-pillar framework that supports people to move from conditioning toward authentic living. While my celebrant work is distinct, the same qualities underpin both: presence, creativity, and authenticity. They allow me to hold ceremonies with depth and care, and to write with a voice that carries both clarity and feeling. Creativity is central to who I am. As a published author and a channelled artist with more than 170 intuitive artworks, I have learned to see words and images as living carriers of energy. I bring that same awareness to ceremony. A service should not only be heard but felt. When language, structure, and ritual are chosen with intention, they become experiences that touch the heart and remain long after the day itself. I am also a mother of two grown sons, and life has given me both joy and challenge. These experiences allow me to stand with empathy, balance, and understanding. They give me the capacity to hold space for the full spectrum of human emotion — the celebration of love, the tenderness of welcoming new life, and the grief of loss. Choosing a celebrant is about trust. You want someone who can ensure the legalities are handled with confidence, who can offer structure when you need it, but who will also bring warmth and presence to the moment. You want someone who will listen, who will take the time to understand what is most important to you, and who can give voice to it with authenticity. That is the commitment I bring: to listen, to care, and to shape a ceremony that is seamless, heartfelt, and uniquely yours. Ultimately, I believe ceremony is about belonging — to ourselves, to one another, and to life itself. That is why I do this work. Every ceremony I create is crafted with the intention that you feel honoured and supported, and that those who gather with you feel connected and included. Whether you are preparing for a wedding, welcoming a child, honouring a loved one, or marking a personal milestone, I would be honoured to walk alongside you. My hope is that when you look back on your ceremony, you remember it not as a formality, but as a moment that truly mattered — a moment that reflected your truth and deepened your connection to life.
