About me

I believe ceremonies are the story-telling of life. Moments that honour love, loss, resilience, hope and the connections that shape who we are. Hi, my name is Karolyn Davison, and as an Authorised Marriage Celebrant and trained Funeral Celebrant, I bring calm presence, deep listening, thoughtful organisation, and a genuine desire to give the very best for every family and couple I support. For my marrying couples, I offer clear guidance through every step, legal paperwork, personal meetings, ceremony design, rehearsals, and the gentle support to feel confident and prepared for your wedding day. I ensure the process feels calm, organised, and genuinely enjoyable. I warmly welcome the special wishes that make a ceremony feel truly personal. Whether it's involving children or including cherished pets, including cultural or traditional rituals, or weaving in meaningful symbols and moments, I support each choice with care. I work closely with families and couples to honour what matters most to them, creating ceremonies that feel inclusive, heart felt and beautifully reflective of their story. I became a celebrant because I have always looked for the precious qualities in the world. Kindness, loyalty, love, bravery, empathy, hopefulness and strength. It brings me great joy to be involved with people, whether it's baking cupcakes for friends, or marrying them to their most loved person in the world! As a celebrant, I see myself as a storyteller, a guide, a calm anchor, a meaning-maker, and companion through life's transitions. Every ceremony I create is crafted with intention, tenderness, and a respect for the story you hold. My business is named Forget-me-not Celebrancy, as I adore the traditional story of the tiny blue flower that tells of recognising special moments that become treasured memories. The forget-me-not has guided me through my life. It's symbolism of enduring love, loyalty and faithfulness, devotion, remembrance, and meaningful connection has been a steady companion - from meeting my husband as a very young woman, to building 47 years of shared life's adventures, and raising a beautiful family together. It's message has resurfaced at many turning points, gently shaping decisions and steps forward. The forget-me-not's sentiment fits beautifully across all ceremonies: weddings, vow renewals, baby namings, life milestones, new beginnings, funerals and memorials. I feel privileged to stand with people at times when love, loss, hope, and change are at their most tender. Every ceremony is an opportunity to honour the quiet strengths we carry and the connections that sustain us. I offer with kindness and care, creating spaces where families and couples feel supported, understood, and gently guided. It is a joy and a responsibility I treasure.
