In short ~ As your celebrant I am delighted to offer you both; ღ My eye for detail & ready smile. ღ A creative, custom scripted, modern ceremony. ღ A fun, stress free process you will enjoy. ღ Quick replies ~ email me: [email protected] ღ On-Line &/or In person meetings ~ Based in Maleny~ Sunshine Coast ~Au and happy to travel. #loveislove 2025 Grand Magnolia Package Investment $760 + gst Inclusions: • An obligation free first meeting to see if we are also a Perfect Matchღ (In-person or on-line ) • Follow up on-line meeting/s if required, additional to Rehearsal. • Unlimited calls/emails & texts as required. • Preparation of a custom scripted Ceremony matching your wishes and requirements. • Provision of your personalised ‘Wedding Ceremony Information Kit’ including resources, tips and useful information to assist in the design and planning of your ceremony. • Presentation of your Ceremony at the agreed time and location. • Preparation and completion of legal paperwork and lodgement with the relevant State authority. • Rehearsal – I will lead a full practice run with you both & any wedding party crew, up to 1hr (Venue availability permitting). • A printed copy of your personalised Ceremony Script & Ceremonial Marriage Certificate. • Assistance in obtaining your Legal Marriage Certificate from the relevant State authority. • Use of my portable PA system if required, (Ceremony use) • Provision of any requested Ceremonial Ritual materials, (Additional costs may apply). • A list of preferred vendors in the local area (Sunshine Coast, Qld) if desired. • Communication & cooperation with your other chosen wedding industry professionals e.g., Photographer & Videographer. • Use of the private grounds at ‘Magnolia Lakehouse Maleny- Bespoke Event & Intimate Ceremonies’ for your Ceremony and/or Photography, if desired. (Additional fees would apply) • Private Chauffeur Services: MAGS & Debi ‘Elegance in Motion’ Sunshine Coast Hinterland Wedding Party Transfer Specialists~ Up to 7 travellers per transfer. (Additional fees would apply) • Master Of Ceremonies (MoC) for your Reception, (Additional fees would apply). A little longer ~ Some people find their niche in life from an early age. I took my time exploring the world with a tool box of acquired education skills under my belt, enjoying each adventure and taking pride in doing my best at everything I turned my hand to, until I finally found the one role that combines not only everything I am known to be good at, but everything I most love to do. I became a Civil Marriage Celebrant! Not being inclined to do things by halves, my husband Jean-Marie & I turned our beautiful 35-year-old ex-Boys Town prize home private property, into the magnificent private lakeside ceremony location it is today, rebirthing it as ‘Magnolia Lakehouse Maleny’ better known as ‘MLM’, the jewel in the crown of the Magnolia Collection of offerings. Now I am truly in my element! From country Queensland ‘high school teacher’ career beginnings, I left teaching to travel extensively within the USA & Europe for the larger portion of a decade. I managed across some brilliant roles along the way… In the USA I was a Ski Hostess at Mt Reba, Bear Valley Ca. (yep paid to snow ski all day long) and Summer Camp Counsellor~ Water Sports Specialist ~ in Upstate New York. In Europe I held an Assistant Tour Manager role for a European Summer Concert road tour featuring Iggy Pop, Midnight Oil, Rage Against the Machine plus other bands who were (are still) considered pretty cool; Managed an Irish Pub in Hamburg, Germany & opened my own breakfast Café in the same city. London saw me busy teaching high school students, saving cash so I could spend months on the beach on the island of Naxos, Greece. Someone had to do it! Along the way I’ve picked up experience thinking on my feet, adapting to new situations, making myself understood by a diverse range of people from literally all walks of life, (ask me about Mexico & Poland…different much!) and managed to pack a few extra people skills into that tool box of mine to bring back with me to Australia. Going back to what I knew to help get over the culture shock, I returned to teaching, mainly in contract and relief positions so I could run my own businesses, as well as enjoy a few years as a Senior Recruitment Consultant. It is fair to say I’m organised and capable of turning a wonderful idea into reality. These days I meet couples with dreams of their own to fulfil, just like YOU ღ I consider it my honour to help you along your journey with meticulous planning, care and attention to your wishes; whether that be by creating and delivering exclusive custom scripted ceremonies just for you and up to 6 of the most important people in your lives here at MLM…or conducting exquisite ceremonies at your wedding or event, far and wide, for far greater numbers. I enjoy every moment and my couple’s tell me they do too! Loving nature, in particular fauna, it doesn’t get much better than right here at our private lakeside ceremony location, MLM… but don’t take my word for it.
